 Commission RatesJust to help everybody get used to using the forum, if you haven't used something similar before, here is a new topic to get chatting on.As artists, how do you feel about the 'standard' 40% commission rate charged by galleries? Does this seem a reasonable split to you? I was speaking to an artists recently who felt he had watched commission rates rise steadily over ten to fifteen years from around 30% up to the currently accepted 40%.
